We had an assassin bug roommate (she was evicted to outside because she started crawling around where my son plays) BUT... she laid some eggs on the window, which I have taken and put in a little jar. I think I have had them for 3 days now? and the eggs seem to be growing / bulging out a little. I can't wait to see the tiny baby assassin bug nymphs. I think assassin bugs have quickly become my favorite bug! Every now and then one breaks in and just chills by the window and snacks on a fly if there is one. Also... they look so cool. The ones we get here are pale green assassin bugs.

I have been playing a romhack for pokemon crystal called "polished crystal" which has been really fun. I am still unsure of how I want to fill the bottom of my index page, but I am leaning towards a section on whatever game I'm playing (probably pokemon) and my current team. But until then... my polished crystal team is currently: cyndaquil, bellsprout, geodude, pidgey, and zubat (yes I am early in the game). I was thinking for this playthrough, catching (almost) everything and just consistently rotating out my team until I settle on it.

Anyways... I'm doing much better mentally than yesterday. The main thing that gets me down is our financial situation and how few options I have as a stay at home mom to help out financially. And then, when I look into reddit threads about recommendations for sahms, there's a ton of scammy "I made 1 million dollars selling Digital Products! Message me for info!" 1. they never fucking explain what "digital products" are and 2. is this just the new version of MLM "hey hon!" scamming?? This timeline sucks. When do we get universal basic income because this isn't working.
