Projects

I

didn't draw much this month but I was atleast able to finish a few neopets sprites! I drew boris, blumaroo, and eyrie. I have now made 14 neopet sprites, leaving... 42 more to go (ha....). I will be immensely proud of myself if I ever manage to finish this series, lol. I have already drawn my favorites and the will to go on is... dwindling. Friendly reminder that if anyone wishes to send me a suggestion of which one to do next, I would love to start on it!

Site Changes

M

y site has returned to its original look after the valentines edition! I sure missed that sweet sweet white text black background contrast.

I

have also added a stamps page to my creations section! These are just a few of them, but you can check out my stamps page to see the rest! I make my stamps by carving into an eraser and print using an ink pad. Carving erasers is a super cheap and fun hobby that I recommend if you want to use your hands to make something.

ith this month being less productive creative wise, I guess I have been sitting more on the other end of consuming art. For one, I'm playing Stardew Valley again, which unfortunately means I have no choice but to open the game every moment that I have free time. I didn't realize Concernedape was doing a 10 year anniversary video / update sneak peak until the other day, so I was kinda just in time to catch the premier of his video today! Seeing the process of a game coming to life and how many full blown features get added then removed before release is so fascinating. It does make me a bit bummed out about the half baked games that I have poured time into before dropping. I like to think that some day things will just click and I will finish my dream projects, but I also just know how I am at this point.

O

therwise I have been listening to a ton of Cafune lately. They have been a top band of mine for a while now but they're just hitting extra hard lately. I really recommend the album "Love Songs For Other People"!!!

nfortunately I am a bit empty handed this month, leaving this newsletter pretty brief. It has been a busy month, but I am hopeful to bring a more interesting update in march.
